Job Qualifications

- experience with fresh food preparation
- food handler certification (food safety) preferred

- knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation, and inventory management
- proficiency with digital tools and technology in a retail environment

- ability to operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely
Job Duties
- Ensure high-quality products are available in the prepared foods area
- maintain clean shelves, control temperatures, verify expiration dates and dispose of outdated products
- prepare and serve ready-to-eat food items
- maintain the sales floor according to company policies by handling claims, zoning, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages
- keep the work area clean, sanitized, and ready for members
- maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- prepare food according to item specifications and adhere to food safety standards including sanitation and cold chain compliance
- operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment
- leverage digital tools to enhance sales, improve shopping experiences, and support training and quality control
- drive the performance of the area by managing inventory, ensuring quality control, reducing waste, and assisting customers
- advocate for the department and club by modeling high-quality service and products
- comply with company policies, ethics, and standards
- complete work assignments by collaborating with managers, co-workers, and customers and adapt to change and feedback
