Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • ability to stand and walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day
  • hand use including single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
  • capability to bend, twist, squat, and reach
  • exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
  • ability to work in temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit
  • ability to work in wet and dry conditions
  • flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to use tools and equipment including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
  • may require use of ladders

Job Duties

  • Cuts, prepares, and serves a variety of hot and cold foods including meats, cheeses, sandwiches, burritos, wraps, salads, and pizzas
  • samples products to customers
  • stocks hot and cold cases and displays with prepared foods
  • checks in-stock product dates and rotates products to ensure freshness
  • bails and consolidates recyclables
  • assists team leader in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items
  • completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required
  • assists with periodic inventory checks
  • arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed and dressed
  • provides excellent customer service and addresses needs politely and promptly
  • maximizes sales potential through proper preparation, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising
  • follows health and sanitation procedures and safe work practices
  • maintains clean and sanitary working and shopping environment
  • performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
  • immediately reports safety hazards and violations
