Job Requirements
- At least 24 months retail experience including at least 12 months team leadership experience
- ability to lift 50 pounds
- ability to stand/walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day
- ability to perform hand motions such as grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
- ability to bend, twist, squat and reach
- exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- ability to work in temperature ranges from below freezing to over 90 degrees Fahrenheit
- ability to work in wet and dry conditions
- availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to use tools and equipment such as knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks and other heavy machinery
- may require use of ladders
Job Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of products, buying, pricing, merchandising, and inventory management
- food safety certification or commitment to obtain within 6 months
- excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills
- ability to teach others in a positive manner
- advanced knowledge of regulatory and safety policies
- proficient mathematical skills for financial and inventory management
- demonstrated decision-making, leadership, and prioritization skills
- proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, and operations-related applications
