Job Requirements
- 1-3 years of kitchen supervisory and customer service experience
- Strong knowledge and application of food safety standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday
- Ability to stand, twist, squat and bend throughout the workday
- Excellent communication skills
- Availability to work weekends, holidays and nights
Job Qualifications
- 1-3 years of kitchen supervisory and customer service experience
- Exceptional food safety knowledge and application
- Excellent communication skills
- Availability to work weekends, holidays and nights
- Pastry or culinary degree or certification preferred
- Experience with vegetarian and vegan cuisine preferred
- Experience with catering and high volume fast paced food production preferred
- Consistent follow-through on communications and deadlines
Job Duties
- Assist the PFD Manager in shift operations
- Ensure quality, training and stocking of perishable products
- Monitor department objectives for sales, margin, turns, and labor
- Maintain a clean, growing, and well-maintained department
- Build and lead highly effective teams
- Set clear expectations and provide training and feedback
- Develop systems to meet production goals and store conditioning standards
