Job Requirements
- must be able to lift 50 pounds
- able to stand and walk 6-8 hours during an 8-hour workday
- capable of hand use including single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
- able to perform motions such as bending, twisting, squatting and reaching
- capable of exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- able to work in temperature ranges including freezing, refrigerator, and high heat conditions
- able to work in wet and dry conditions
- flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- capable of using tools and equipment including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
- may require use of ladders

Job Duties
- assist with production for all prepared foods venues
- ensure all prepared foods are properly labeled, dated, initialed, covered, and rotated
- ensure product meets WFM guidelines for quality and preparation
- document waste and spoilage using appropriate forms
- ensure product production is performed using correct measuring devices and all recipes are followed
- help customers understand the difference between WFM products and products at conventional stores
- ensure that walk-ins and freezers are kept clean and well-organized
- arrive to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work
- provide excellent customer service, address needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and model suggestive selling techniques
- maximize sales potential through effective and proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product
- follow and comply, or ensure compliance, with established procedures, including weights and measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices
- maintain, or ensure maintenance of, a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment
- perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
- ensure accuracy of signs and pricing
- immediately report safety hazards and violations
