Job Requirements

  • 6-12 months retail experience
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand or walk for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday
  • Proficient with single grasping fine manipulation pushing and pulling
  • Ability to perform bending twisting squatting and reaching motions
  • Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
  • Ability to work in freezing refrigerator and hot temperature conditions
  • Ability to work in wet and dry environments
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights weekends and holidays
  • Ability to use knives box cutters electric pallet jacks and other heavy machinery
  • May require use of ladders

Job Duties

  • Prepare food items for cold case fresh pack salad and hot bars according to production sheets
  • Prepare food items according to recipe to ensure quality and consistency
  • Ensure all prepared items are labeled dated covered monitored for quality and freshness and rotated
  • Monitor food levels and replenish in a timely manner
  • Arrive to workstation on time appropriately groomed dressed and ready to work work all scheduled shifts and attend required trainings and meetings
  • Provide excellent customer service address customer needs in a timely and effective manner and model suggestive selling techniques answer phones and pages promptly and courteously
  • Maximize sales potential through proper prep storing rotating stocking and merchandising product
  • Follow and comply with established procedures including weights and measures health and sanitation and safe work practices
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work and shopping environment maintain equipment according to cleanliness and safety standards ensure walk-ins and freezers are clean and organized
  • Perform opening mid and closing duties as assigned ensure accuracy of signs and pricing
  • Immediately report safety hazards and violations
  • Perform other duties as assigned by store regional or national leadership
