Job Description
The position involves performing all functions related to the preparation and maintenance of food in the cold case, fresh pack, salad, and hot bars. Team Members in this role are responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and sanitation to promote a safe and welcoming shopping experience for customers. Job Requirements
- must be able to lift 50 pounds
- standing or walking for 6-8 hours during an 8-hour workday
- use of single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling hand motions
- perform bending, twisting, squatting and reaching motions
- exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- work in temperatures below 32 degrees Fahrenheit (freezing), 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators), and above 90 degrees Fahrenheit
- ability to work in wet and dry conditions
- flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
- ability to use tools and equipment such as knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks and other heavy machinery
- may require the use of ladders

Job Duties
- Prepare food items for the cold case, fresh pack, salad, and hot bars according to production sheets
- prepare food items according to recipe to ensure quality and consistency
- ensure that all prepared items are labeled, dated, covered, monitored for quality and freshness, and rotated
- monitor food levels and replenish in a timely manner
- arrive to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work
- provide excellent customer service, address needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and model suggestive selling techniques
- maximize sales potential through effective and proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product
- follow and comply with established procedures, including weights and measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices
- maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment
- perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
- report safety hazards and violations immediately
- perform other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership
