Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- able to stand/walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday
- capable of single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
- able to perform bending, twisting, squatting and reaching motions
- exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- exposure to freezing, refrigerated, and high temperature environments
- able to work in wet and dry conditions
- flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- able to use knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
- may require use of ladders
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 18 months retail Team Member experience
- at least 6 months supervisory experience
- high energy and enthusiastic attitude
- strong interpersonal and motivational skills
- capability to teach and mentor others
- advanced product knowledge
- understanding of regulatory and safety policies
- proficient mathematical skills for financial assessment
- demonstrated leadership and decision-making abilities
- proficient with email, Microsoft Office, and operational applications
Job Duties
- Develops and maintains creative store layout and product merchandising
- works with Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets
- assists Team Leader in analysis of sales, reports and labor
- demonstrates advanced product knowledge and awareness of new products
- maintains good vendor relationships and ensures proper vendor paperwork
- works with Team Leader to resolve team concerns or issues
- functions as point person and departmental lead in absence of Team Leader
- sets and achieves highest standards of retail execution
- fosters a positive environment of teamwork, respect, and morale
- consistently communicates and models company vision and goals
- maintains awareness of customer needs and directs Team Members accordingly
- selects, trains, develops, mentors, motivates, and counsels Team Members
- provides timely performance evaluations
