Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments within prescribed time
- Six months experience in a fresh production department or supervising a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail food environment
- Willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and lead associates
- Accept and promote company’s drug-free workplace policy
Job Qualifications
- Six months experience in a fresh production department or supervising a team
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Food handler certification (food safety) preferred
- Ability to train and develop team members
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Familiarity with digital tools and technology for operations
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Commitment to company values including integrity and respect
- Proficiency in collaborating with diverse teams and external partners
Job Duties
- Supervise team within prepared foods departments including café and rotisserie
- Facilitate rotations through different fresh areas
- Manage member needs to deliver on the business plan
- Communicate department goals and execute company programs
- Ensure compliance with quality, inventory, production, sanitation, equipment usage, safety, and regulatory standards
- Manage seasonality and prioritize production areas
- Collaborate with associates and third parties to provide resources and training
- Utilize digital tools and handheld technology for sales planning and operational decisions
- Drive operational excellence including profitability, staffing, audit, compliance, and merchandising
- Engage with other departments and external partners to maintain operational continuity
- Teach, train, and mentor team members to develop skills and encourage career growth
- Develop and implement processes to meet business needs
- Promote compliance with company policies, ethics, and integrity
- Lead and participate in teams focusing on customer needs and business priorities
- Embrace diversity and foster an inclusive workplace culture
- Build strong relationships and communicate effectively to motivate and influence
