Job Duties

  • Supervise the team within all prepared foods departments
  • Facilitate rotations through different fresh areas
  • Manage members' needs to deliver on the business plan
  • Communicate the goals of the department
  • Execute company programs
  • Adhere to policies and advocate for members, associates, and the company
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of business and backroom operations
  • Ensure compliance with quality, inventory, production, sanitation, safety, and regulatory standards
  • Manage seasonality in production and prioritize time between areas
  • Collaborate with associates and third parties to ensure resources and training
  • Leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve shopping experience
  • Use handheld technology for business decisions related to production, training, and quality
  • Drive operational excellence and plan for profitability
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and safe work area
  • Ensure adequate staffing and accurate audits
  • Produce and display merchandise according to layout plans
  • Engage with other departments and third-party partners for operational continuity
  • Teach and train team members
  • Identify training needs and develop necessary skills
  • Encourage career growth and source new talent internally and externally
  • Develop and implement processes by collaborating with managers, coworkers, and business partners
  • Monitor progress and identify improvement opportunities
