Job Requirements
- Desire to help where needed and work as part of a team
- Passion for cooking with keen eye for freshness, quality and cleanliness
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends, holidays and evenings
- Ideally at least 1 year of experience in fast-paced kitchen
- Ability to lift, move and carry 50+ lbs
- Able to work 8+ hours on feet
- Ability to grasp and reach overhead

Job Duties
- Follow prep lists created by chefs
- Label and stock all cooking ingredients
- Complete all tasks on the prep list from the Head Chef or kitchen manager
- Wash, chop, and sort ingredients like fruits, vegetables, and meats
- Measure quantities of seasonings and other cooking ingredients
- Adhere to nutrition and sanitary regulations and standards
- Keep track of ingredient inventory and collaborate for resupply
- Learn cooking methods and techniques
- Ensure all food items are properly stored and accessible
- Supervise food and cooling room temperatures
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and sanitized kitchen
- Assist chefs in preparing food and culinary tasks
- Execute cooking techniques under the direction of the Sous and Executive Chef
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and presentation standards
- Portion, chop, weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
- Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, fryers, and kitchen equipment
- Ensure correct temperature of appliances and food
- Set up and break down workstation
- Wash and disinfect kitchen, tables, tools, and equipment
- Follow company safety and security policies
- Maintain proper care and maintenance of dish machine
- Keep clean supply of dishware, glassware, silverware, utensils, and cookware
- Thrive in fast-paced environment adhering to cleanliness and sanitation
- Other duties as assigned
