- at least one year of experience in a fast paced kitchen environment
- ability to work flexible schedules including weekends holidays and evenings
- strong communication skills
- ability to lift carry and move over 50 pounds
- ability to stand for extended periods
- commitment to maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
- willingness to work as part of a team and assist where needed

Job Duties
- follow prep lists created by chefs
- label and stock all cooking ingredients
- complete all tasks in order on the prep list from the Head Chef or kitchen manager
- wash chop and sort ingredients like fruits vegetables and meats
- measure quantities of seasonings and other cooking ingredients
- adhere to all relevant nutrition and sanitary regulations and standards
- keep track of ingredient inventory and collaborate with kitchen and management staff to order resupply
- learn about the cooking methods and techniques employed in the kitchen
- ensure all food items are properly stored and easily accessible
- supervise food and cooling room temperatures
- maintain a clean orderly and sanitized kitchen
- assist chefs in preparing food and attending to culinary tasks
- execute cooking techniques under direction of Sous Chef and Executive Chef
- prepare and cook food according to recipes quality and presentation standards
- prepare ingredients by portioning chopping weighing measuring and mixing
- operate kitchen equipment including ovens stoves grills microwaves fryers
- ensure correctness of temperature of appliances and food
- actively set up and break down workstation and prepare for upcoming shift
- wash and disinfect kitchen tables tools knives and equipment
- follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
- ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
- responsible for proper care and maintenance of dish machine
- keep a clean supply of dishware glassware silverware utensils and cookware
- thrive in a fast-paced environment while adhering to cleanliness and sanitation standards
- assist any other culinary tasks as assigned
