Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen attendant role preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Attention to detail and cleanliness
- Basic math skills for measuring and portioning
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or food preparation role preferred
- Knowledge of proper food handling and safety procedures

- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks

Job Duties
- Prepare assigned items according to the prep lists and par levels set by management
- Properly measure and assemble ingredients required for preparing the standard recipes including cutting and/or portioning meat fish and poultry
- Use scale to ensure proper portioning of food items
- Control inventory for loss waste and spoilage
- Clean organize and maintain walk-in refrigerator reach-in refrigerator cooler drawers prep and dry storage area
- Maintain prep area in a clean sanitary and safe manner
- Rotate product according to first in first out to maintain shelf-life standards
- Date and label all food prepped and placed into walk-in cooler
- Understand and comply with food safety and temperature standards
- Maintain a friendly cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times while providing personalized service to restaurant and hotel guests
- Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members
- Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department restaurant and hotel
- Perform other duties as assigned requested or deemed necessary by management
