Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 1 year experience in kitchen preparation and cooking
- ability to communicate clearly with kitchen and front of house staff
- ability to stand for long periods, up to 10 hours
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation in work area
- willingness to follow policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in kitchen preparation and cooking
- ability to follow recipes and portion sizes consistently
- strong communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
Job Duties
- Prepare hot food products accurately and efficiently
- portion food prior to cooking
- plate and garnish cooked items appropriately
- follow Ruby Standards and recipes consistently
- maintain clean and sanitary work area
- communicate clearly with managers and team members
- comply with kitchen rules, policies, and procedures
