Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food preparation preferred
  • ability to stand for entire shifts
  • capability to reach, bend and stoop frequently
  • ability to carry 35lbs about ten times per shift over medium distances
  • effective verbal communication skills
  • willingness to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment

  • Proven experience in food preparation or similar kitchen role
  • ability to follow set recipes and portion controls
  • good time management and organizational skills
  • ability to work well under pressure and maintain professionalism
  • knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards
  • clear communication skills
  • ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Follow prep list created by Executive Chef or Sous Chef using set recipes
  • measure ingredients and seasonings for cooking
  • wash and chop vegetables and cut meat for preparation
  • label and stock ingredients in an organized manner
  • follow recipes, portion controls and presentation specifications
  • maintain a clean and organized station while practicing safety and sanitation
  • set up and manage steam tables during AM and PM shifts as per daily backup sheet
  • heat up food to proper temperatures for service
  • perform other kitchen duties as assigned
