Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods of time

Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- knowledge of basic cooking methods and ingredient preparation
- strong knife skills
- ability to follow detailed instructions and recipes
- effective communication skills
- ability to work well within a team
- familiarity with sanitation and food safety standards
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Duties
- Follows prep lists created by chefs
- measures ingredients and seasonings and prepares cooking ingredients
- maintains cleanliness and organization while handling all food items
- washes, chops, and cuts according to recipe specifications while checking production lists and assignments
- labels and stores all product following FIFO and company standards
- maintains cleanliness and sanitation of assigned station, kitchen, and venue
- adheres to Department of Health and company sanitation standards
- possesses in-depth knowledge of assigned recipes and execution
- communicates product needs to chefs, sous chefs, and support staff
- performs inventory checks and food storage logs
- cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces as needed
- reports all breakage or damage of equipment immediately to management
- properly sets up station and performs opening and closing procedures as directed by management
- attends and participates in daily pre-service meetings
- maintains professional appearance standards as directed in the employee handbook
