- basic knife skills
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to follow instructions accurately
- availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Previous kitchen or food preparation experience preferred
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices
- strong communication skills
- ability to work effectively in a team
Job Duties
- Ability to handle knives and to operate kitchen equipment
- assist line cooks and pantry when necessary with food preparation
- continually maintain a clean, safe and sanitary prep area, walk-in cooler and freezer
