Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a kitchen or food service setting strongly preferred
- knowledge of basic food preparation and kitchen safety procedures
- ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- must be dependable, punctual, and professional in demeanor

Job Duties
- Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, slicing, and measuring food items according to recipes and menu requirements
- assist cooks and chefs in preparing and plating meals for residents
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, prep areas, and equipment
- properly label and store food items to ensure freshness and prevent cross-contamination
- follow all food safety regulations and company policies
- help with receiving and storing deliveries and rotating stock
- work collaboratively with the dietary team to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by the Chef or Food Service Manager
