  • Food service or Culinary Arts degree
  • 1 year related culinary work
  • Demonstrates commitment to guest service excellence and ethical conduct
  • Gaming license required

  • ServSafe certification

Job Duties

  • Completes all tasks in order on the prep list
  • Labels and stocks all ingredients on easily accessible shelves
  • Washes, chops, and sorts ingredients like fruits, vegetables, and meats
  • Measures quantities of seasonings and other cooking ingredients
  • Parboils food, reduces sauces and starts first steps in various dishes
  • Adheres to all relevant nutrition and sanitary regulations and standards
  • Tracks ingredient inventory and collaborates with other kitchen and management staff to order resupply
  • Prepares all menu items quickly, efficiently, and consistently
  • Meets guests needs through timely and proper handling of all equipment and chemicals
  • Ensures the kitchens are properly supplied with freshly prepared food
  • Complies with all department and company rules, regulations, policies, procedures and internal controls and government rules and regulations
  • Works in a safe manner at all times
  • Assists in other kitchens of the Casino as necessary
  • Maintains the work area to be clean and organized, deep cleans the area at the end of shifts
  • Follows the proper closing procedure with cleaning and labeling
  • Attends periodic meetings and training sessions
  • Promotes positive public and employee relations
  • Presents oneself in a neat and clean appearance at all times
  • Performs other duties as assigned
