Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years cooking experience, preferably in batch cooking
  • Ability to work part-time hours from 10:00am to 6:30pm
  • Must be able to follow safety and sanitation protocols
  • Must be vaccinated against influenza or have a qualified exemption
  • Strong team player
  • Ability to read and follow detailed recipes and production sheets accurately

Job Qualifications

  • Cooking experience for a minimum of two years, preferably in batch cooking
  • Ability to work well on a team
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Visual acuity to read production sheets, menus, and recipes accurately
  • Knowledge of proper food safety and sanitation practices
  • Effective communication skills

Job Duties

  • Report to executive chef, sous chef, and production manager
  • Responsible for the quality and quantity of food prepared and served
  • Use Culinary Production Records (CPR) and standardized recipes to produce menu items in correct portions and amounts
  • Assist other kitchens with food preparation when needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas
  • Follow proper HACCP procedures
  • Perform equipment maintenance and ensure safety protocols are met
