Job Description

Delaware North Sportservice is currently seeking a seasonal Prep Cook to join their dynamic team at Miami Freedom Park in Miami, Florida. Miami Freedom Park is a cutting-edge soccer stadium and entertainment venue set to open in 2026 as the future home of Inter Miami CF. This state-of-the-art facility will serve as a premier destination for world-class soccer matches, concerts, and live events throughout the year. Delaware North will manage stadium concessions and premium food and beverage services at this venue, offering guests innovative culinary experiences that celebrate Miami’s vibrant culture while elevating classic stadium favorites.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand and walk for entire shift possibly in confined spaces
  • Manual ability to chop, mix, blend, whip, and operate kitchen equipment
  • Willingness to work days, evenings, holidays, weekends, and event shifts
  • Compliance with health and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • No experience or diploma required
  • Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Capacity to safely use kitchen tools including knives and small equipment

Job Duties

  • Prepare food to specifications before and during unit operations, complying with all portion sizes and quality standards
  • Label, date, and wrap food products according to ServSafe procedures
  • Communicate with the chef for instructions or training
  • Uphold health codes, sanitation regulations, safety, security, and kitchen procedures
  • Maintain food, utensils, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner
  • Perform opening, closing, and side work duties
  • Conduct end-of-day inventory as per guidelines
