Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to obtain and follow daily production schedules
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local health regulations
  • Ability to operate and clean kitchen equipment
  • Adherence to food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and team members
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with food preparation

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food preparation or culinary role preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and HACCP guidelines
  • Ability to follow recipes and production standards accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with a positive attitude

Job Duties

  • Obtains daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef
  • Prepares items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes
  • Completes and follows daily production worksheets and waste log sheets
  • Tastes completed meals to ensure quality
  • Operates and cleans equipment per department procedures after each use
  • Stores, labels and dates all food items according to policy
  • Follows HACCP guidelines
  • Completes all required documentation, reports, logs as required
  • Complies with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures
  • Takes orders from customer and prepares items requiring short preparation time
  • Serves customers in an efficient and friendly manner
  • Completes orders from steam tables and grill and serves customers at multiple stations
  • Uses approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control
  • Resolves customer concerns
  • Performs other duties as assigned
