Job Requirements

  • Ability to take direction and work in a team environment
  • ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • commitment to quality service and food and beverage knowledge
  • knowledge and comprehension of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
  • basic English language and professional communication skills
  • able to independently lift up to 15 lbs
  • ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods
  • must be able to stand or walk for 8 to 10 hours per day
  • hand-eye coordination
  • physical ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, push, pull, and lift overhead
  • must be able to climb stairs in multi-level restaurants

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior kitchen or food prep experience preferred
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • strong communication skills in English
  • ability to follow recipes and directions
