Job Requirements

  • ability to take direction and to work in a team environment
  • ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • commitment to quality service and food and beverage knowledge
  • knowledge and comprehension of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
  • basic english language and professional communication skills are required
  • able to independently lift to 15lbs for an extended period
  • ability to stand, walk and climb stairs with food items and dishes throughout your shift
  • must be able to walk and/or stand for 8-10 hours per day
  • hand-eye coordination
  • reaching, bending twisting, stooping
  • pushing and pulling
  • lifting overhead
  • must be able to climb stairs in restaurants that have multiple levels

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is a plus
  • basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • good communication skills
  • teamwork orientation
  • basic english language proficiency

Job Duties

  • prepare food items as assigned by management
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep and line areas
  • follow sanitation and safety procedures
  • ensure ingredient freshness and product consistency
  • assist with kitchen stock and inventory management
  • work collaboratively within the kitchen team
  • handle food according to health and safety guidelines
