Job Requirements
- Ability to take direction and to work in a team environment
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Commitment to quality service, and food and beverage knowledge
- Knowledge and comprehension of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
- Basic English language and professional communication skills are required
- Able to independently lift to 15lbs for an extended period
- Ability to stand, walk and climb stairs with food items and dishes throughout your shift
- Must be able to walk and/or stand for 8-10 hours per day
- Hand-eye coordination
- Reaching, bending twisting, stooping
- Pushing and pulling
- Lifting overhead
- Must be able to climb stairs in restaurants that have multiple levels
Job Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
- Effective communication skills in English
- Commitment to quality service and food safety
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Prepare food ingredients according to standardized recipes and management instructions
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen workstations and equipment
- Monitor food quality and freshness to ensure product consistency
- Assist in the timely assembly of food items during service hours
- Follow safety, sanitation, and food handling guidelines strictly
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet service demands
- Uphold company policies and contribute to a positive kitchen environment
