Job Requirements
- Ability to take direction and work in a team environment
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Commitment to quality service and food knowledge
- Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
- Basic English language and professional communication skills
- Ability to independently lift up to 15 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods
- Capability to walk or stand 8-10 hours per day
- Hand-eye coordination
- Ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, push, pull, and lift overhead
- Must be able to climb stairs in multi-level restaurants
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in food preparation or kitchen environment is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Basic English language and communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service
- Physical stamina to stand and move throughout the shift
Job Duties
- Prepare food items and ingredients as assigned by management
- Follow standardized recipes to maintain consistency
- Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
- Work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced team environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen prep area
- Communicate professionally with team members and management
- Assist with inventory management and ingredient storage
