Job Requirements

  • Basic kitchen knowledge preferred but no experience required
  • Ability to follow direction and step by step instruction accurately
  • Ability to work as part of a team with good communication
  • Ability to prioritize tasks safely and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds
  • Ability to continuously stand, walk, reach, and bend in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Job Duties

  • Wash and chop produce
  • Measure ingredients
  • Prep stations by following prep list
  • Follow strict food safety and sanitation standards including proper food handling, storage, and labeling
  • Work closely with the kitchen team ensuring proper food preparation for a smooth and efficient food service
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace by performing cleaning tasks, sanitizing equipment and organizing food storage
  • Follow safety policies and procedures including proper knife and kitchen utensil handling and wearing proper protective gear and maintaining a safe working environment
