Job Requirements
- be 18 years of age or older
- must have a high school diploma
- possess a current California Food Handlers Certificate
- be able to communicate and understand English and a reasonable amount of Spanish
- possess effective oral communication skills
- be well groomed and maintain proper hygiene
- maintain good posture
- have required uniform and tools
- display ethical and professional standards
- possess basic math skills
- be able to work standing for minimum of 8 hours
- able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- able to safely lift and maneuver trays weighing up to 40 pounds
Job Qualifications
- must have a high school diploma
- formal culinary education is preferred but not required
- possess a current California Food Handlers Certificate
- be able to communicate in English and a reasonable amount of Spanish
- possess effective oral communication skills and ability to work as a team player

Job Duties
- promote and act in a manner consistent with the mission of TARTINE

- arrive ready to work at the start of the shift
- understand all aspects of the menu and execution components
- ensure quality standards are met and edit substandard product
- maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations
- execute recipe processes for consistency and quality
- complete prep and mise en place lists for current and next day shifts
- communicate with kitchen management about product and equipment needs
- prepare and refill grab and go items
- communicate product quantities with following shifts
- organize daily tasks efficiently
- own assigned stations including prep work
- assist team members as needed
- clean equipment and workspaces following procedures
- communicate respectfully and professionally
- maximize production efficiency and time management
- work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- work thoughtfully and independently when needed
- ensure safe work practices
- demonstrate self-motivation and ability to work without supervision
