Job Requirements
- Prior high-volume cooking experience
- Ability to work full time including rotating weekends
- Availability for shifts from 4:00 am to 12:00 pm
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and complete documentation
- Capacity to handle food preparation and kitchen equipment safely
- Willingness to maintain cleanliness and comply with health regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior high-volume cooking experience required
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to follow recipes and production guidelines accurately
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen duties
Job Duties
- Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the chef
- Prepare items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes
- Complete and follow daily production worksheets and waste log sheets
- Operate and clean equipment per department procedures after each use
- Store, label and date all food items according to policy and follow HACCP guidelines
- Complete all required documentation, reports, and logs as required
- Comply with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures
- Take orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation time
- Serve customers in an efficient and friendly manner
- Complete orders from steam tables and grill and serve customers at multiple stations
- Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control
- Resolve customer concerns
- Perform other duties as assigned
