Job Requirements

No degree or any other education earned
Food service experience preferred
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Capacity to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, lift and carry items up to 75 pounds
Available to work day shifts
Must comply with hygiene and safety standards
Willingness to respond positively to change
Ability to maintain accountability and professionalism

Job Qualifications

Food service experience preferred
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Ability to use kitchen tools and equipment effectively
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to follow instructions from the Executive Chef
Understanding of patient-centered care principles

Job Duties

Prepares ingredients and components for meal preparation
Utilizes kitchen tools, equipment, and utensils for food preparation
Performs washing, cutting, chopping, and measuring of ingredients
Adheres to HACCP guidelines for requisition, storage, handling, and preparation of food
Maintains sanitation and cleanliness of work area
Supports production of meals for patients, cafeteria, physicians, and catering services
Follows safety and hygiene standards consistently
