Job Requirements

  • At least six months of dishwashing experience preferred
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License and access to reliable transportation
  • Conversational English proficiency
  • Ability to operate large-volume culinary equipment safely
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Use of team lifts and transportation carts for heavy loads
  • Adherence to company dress code and punctual attendance
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Job Qualifications

  • Six months of dishwashing experience preferred
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License and reliable transportation
  • Conversational English proficiency
  • Ability to safely operate large-volume culinary equipment including slicers, mixers, food processors, blenders, and choppers
  • Capable of working in a standing position for extended periods up to 8 hours
  • Physical ability to reach, bend, stoop, push, pull, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet time deadlines during peak periods
  • Adherence to dress code and punctuality

Job Duties

  • Complete all tasks on the prep list provided by the Head Chef or kitchen manager
  • Label, stock, and organize ingredients on accessible shelves
  • Wash, chop, and sort ingredients (fruits, vegetables, meats) as required
  • Measure seasonings and cooking ingredients accurately
  • Start preliminary cooking tasks, including parboiling, reducing sauces, and preparing dish components
  • Operate and maintain the dish machine by loading, running, unloading, and ensuring cleanliness
  • Report any functional issues immediately
  • Maintain kitchen organization and cleanliness to ensure a safe environment for all employees and guests
  • Follow daily workplace safety, food safety, HACCP, and internal audit guidelines, policies, and SOPs
  • Clock in and out for workdays and breaks as scheduled
  • Ensure food preparation procedures comply with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Report ingredient discrepancies, equipment issues, or other concerns to management
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
