Job Qualifications

  • prior experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment preferred

  • ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately

Job Duties

  • follow the prep lists
  • label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible
  • measure ingredients and seasonings to be used in cooking
  • prepare cooking ingredients
  • undertake basic cooking duties
  • prepare simple dishes
  • maintain a clean and orderly kitchen to ensure that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
  • ensure all food and other items are stored properly
  • comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
  • perform other kitchen duties as assigned
