Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Advanced knowledge of kitchen stations and roles
  • Ability to work in extreme temperature conditions including walk-in freezers at -10°F
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Successful completion of restaurant training program
  • Willingness to learn and adapt
  • Physical stamina to handle kitchen demands

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Advanced knowledge of kitchen stations and roles
  • Experience with kitchen equipment and tools
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team
  • Previous experience in a restaurant kitchen preferred

Job Duties

  • Prep, portion, prepare, and assemble all cold food items including salads, cold appetizers, and desserts
  • Follow recipe specifications and quality standards as set by Ruth’s Chris Steak House
  • Work under the supervision of the Sous Chef or Manager-on-Duty
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the preparation area
  • Ensure all food preparation complies with safety and sanitation standards
  • Support kitchen operations during high-volume service periods
  • Participate in training and continuous learning programs
