Job Requirements
- patient, tactful and flexible with residents, family members, volunteers, visitors, physicians, staff and public
- willingness to perform variety of tasks
- adherence to Touchmark Gold Standards including excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity and compassion
- ability and willingness to work holidays and weekends
- pass drug and background test
Job Qualifications
- minimum of 1 year prep cook experience
- high school diploma or equivalent
- commitment to Touchmark values of excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity and compassion
- genuine interest in working in a geriatric environment
- ability to read, write and speak English
- patient and tactful in interactions
- willingness to continue learning and improve skills
- ability to maintain confidentiality
Job Duties
- operate necessary kitchen equipment
- perform prep cook duties according to Touchmark Gold Standards
- read and interpret recipes
- manage high volume prep lists
- maintain safe and clean kitchen practices
- work within a team to achieve daily goals
- maintain a clean and healthy environment for residents and guests
