Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- culinary arts or culinary apprenticeship preferred
- one or more years of experience cooking in a fast paced kitchen preferred
- one or more years of experience with scratch cooking preferred
- saute and/or broiler experience preferred
- ability to read, write and understand the English language
- sufficient manual dexterity to use kitchen equipment and utensils
- ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push and pull continuously
- ability to lift or carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds
- ability to perform all essential functions within varying temperature ranges

Job Duties
- Prepare ingredients and food items accurately according to recipes and community standards
- control quality and quantity of food prepared at assigned stations
- adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations
- assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
- collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth food production
- follow guidance from the Executive Chef and promote the Sterling Touch® service model
- handle kitchen equipment and utensils safely and efficiently
