Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years experience in a full service restaurant
- ability to stand during entire shift
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- ability to work long hours
- must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- must work well in stressful, high pressure situations
- must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure

- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in a hotel or related field preferred
- ability to interact with associates and guests successfully
- knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- ability to maintain composure under pressure
- good communication skills
- ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- familiarity with hotel policies and emergency procedures
Job Duties
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- maintain regular attendance in compliance with hotel and company standards
- maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
- comply at all times with hotel and company standards and regulations
- maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times
- have basic knowledge of menus and the preparation required
- maintain cleanliness and organization of all storage areas
- complete necessary preparations prior to opening of the breakfast bar
- assist in preparation and display of buffet food items
- maintain post on kitchen line to prepare food to order
- assist in preparation of food for lunch, dinner and pool area
- assist in preparation of food for employee if needed
- assist in preparation of all foods following hotel standard recipes
- breakdown breakfast buffet and kitchen line, storing food and equipment properly
- know the location and operation of all fire extinguishing equipment
- practice safe work habits to avoid injury
- be familiar with hotel policies and emergency procedures
- be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to guests, managers and employees
- operate and maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment
- maintain the Clean As You Go policy
- assist in storage and rotation of food items
- sign keys out and back in under supervision
- attend meetings as required
- perform other duties as requested by management
