Job Requirements

  • High school degree or GED preferred
  • Minimum six months of kitchen or related experience
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • No felony or theft convictions
  • Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
  • Must pass background check
  • Must obtain and maintain gaming license
  • Ability to learn safe kitchen equipment use and practices
  • Ability to communicate, read, and write in basic English
  • Ability to perform in fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to maintain professional appearance and conduct

Job Qualifications

  • High school degree or GED preferred
  • Six months experience in a working kitchen or as a kitchen steward or equivalent
  • Ability to learn to use kitchen equipment and tools safely
  • Knowledge of basic foods and food safety regulations
  • Ability to communicate clearly in basic English
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain professional appearance and behavior
  • Ability to coordinate tasks among team members

Job Duties

  • Prepares a variety of foods according to menu and business demand
  • Performs tasks set forth by superiors
  • Uses proper knife skills, cooking and baking techniques
  • Follows standardized recipes for all food venues
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and sanitized work area according to health and safety regulations
  • Organizes and labels all food storage areas
  • Communicates effectively with team members and management
