Job Requirements
- must be able to work a variety of schedules including evenings and weekends
- will work under the supervision of the Kitchen Supervisor
- adhere to all health and safety standards
- maintain proper personal hygiene
- communicate efficiently with management and team members
- maintain any required certifications
- able to work in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- preferred 2 years of professional cooking experience
- preferred proficiency with knife skills such as dice, chop and julienne
- a person of good character
- able to follow directions
- willing to work a variety of schedules as needed
- must be able to work well with others
Job Duties
- prepares and serves food in an attractive manner
- works in the dish pit and busing/cleaning tables
- use excellent communication skills to work positively with different populations and build rapport with clients
- ensure that a safe and healthy environment exists for patrons
- will communicate clearly and specifically with Food Service & Events Manager and Kitchen Supervisor
- strictly adheres to prescribed standardized recipes and kitchen procedures
- diligently works at his/her given tasks and offers help to others when needed
