Job Requirements

  • Must have proven experience as a prep cook or in a similar kitchen role
  • solid knowledge of food preparation techniques
  • ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
  • strong attention to detail
  • excellent organizational skills
  • ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • good communication and interpersonal skills
  • must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to lift up to 25 pounds consistently
  • ability to lift 25 to 50 pounds occasionally

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a prep cook or in a similar kitchen role
  • solid knowledge of food preparation techniques with the ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
  • a strong attention to detail and the organizational skills to keep your work area clean and efficient
  • ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment juggling multiple tasks at once
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills ensuring a smooth and cooperative kitchen environment

Job Duties

  • Prep ingredients for cooking including washing peeling chopping vegetables and measuring out ingredients to ensure everything is ready for the kitchen team
  • assist in meal preparation by following recipes and instructions from the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure dishes are prepared to perfection
  • maintain a clean and organized work area including both the kitchen and storage areas ensuring efficiency and safety
  • assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies ensuring we have everything we need to keep operations running smoothly
  • follow all procedures and policies set forth by the company division and Health Department following all health and safety regulations
  • contributes to a productive work culture by staying focused and finding ways to improve self and others
