Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification as a Food Safety Manager from an EV Accredited Issuing Body
  • Food Handler Certificate issued by an EV Accredited Issuing Body
  • Ability to work 8-hour shifts typically starting between 5:30 AM and 6:00 AM with alternating weekends
  • Adherence to food safety and sanitary regulations
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school grad or equivalent
  • Certified Food Safety Manager (CFSM) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
  • Food Handler Certificate (FHC) - EV Accredited Issuing Body

Job Duties

  • Prepare patient, retail, and catering meals by following culinary production records including short-order and batch cooking to ensure quality and temperature standards
  • Execute advance prep tasks by reviewing pull sheets and organizing ingredients for upcoming service periods and high-volume production needs
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment ensuring all equipment and surfaces meet health standards and record temperatures according to regulatory requirements
  • Manage inventory by sorting, labeling, dating, and rotating stock to support food safety and minimize waste
  • Collaborate with managers and team members to meet operational goals, communicate needs, and support efficient food service delivery
