Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a high-volume kitchen preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Frequent handwashing and use of gloves required
  • Schedule flexibility for days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a high-volume kitchen preferred
  • Multiple station experience a plus
  • Strong understanding of basic cooking and preparation methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
  • Excellent teamwork, organization, and communication skills
  • Safe Food Handler certification preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare ingredients for service, including chopping, portioning, mixing, and measuring
  • Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies before each shift
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas throughout the shift
  • Label, date, and store all food items properly for freshness and safety
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
  • Work quickly and efficiently to support timely food preparation
  • Communicate equipment, product, or supply needs to management promptly
  • Assist in training new kitchen team members when requested
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
