Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of one year of progressive responsibility in a culinary or food preparation role
  • ability to work flexible hours as needed
  • basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and food safety standards
  • strong work ethic and reliability
  • capability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
  • excellent attention to detail

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of one year of progressive responsibility in a full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club, hotel, or cruise line environment
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation
  • ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines

Job Duties

  • prepare food items needed for meal service following established recipes and portion control guidelines
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen work area
  • assist with inventory management and stock rotation
  • comply with all food safety and sanitation regulations
  • support other kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth meal service
  • participate in culinary training and development programs
  • contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment
