Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as kneeling, stooping, and crouching
- Food safety and sanitation training
- Basic English communication skills
- Ability to work in both hot and cold environments and near moving mechanical parts
- Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned

- Ability to follow recipes and food preparation instructions accurately
Job Duties
- Follows recipes and product directions for proper food preparation
- Maintains quality control for all products, including monitoring freshness of product daily
- Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or cart
- Prepares appropriate equipment for cooking
- Operates kitchen utensils and equipment used for weighing, measuring, mixing, washing, peeling, cutting, grinding, stirring, straining, slicing, assembling and kneading of food products
- Ensures proper food handling procedures are followed wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating and checking temperature of products
- Receives and inventories food and beverage product and supplies
- Cleans and sanitizes work station and equipment
- Ability to perform any other duties as assigned by Department Manager
