Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years experience in high-volume food service
- At least 1 year exposure to menu research and development
- Valid food handler's certificate or equivalent
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, and lift/move up to 30 pounds
- Ability to multitask under time limits
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow complex instructions
- Excellent punctuality and attendance
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Commitment to safety and security procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 3+ years experience in a high-volume food service
- Exposure to menu research and development
- Culinary knowledge of terms, procedures, and practices
- A reliable, quality-conscious, safe worker
- Flexibility to perform assigned tasks independently or as part of a team
- Knowledge of HACCP
- Excellent attention to detail and self-organization
- Ability to manage a heavy workload
- Ability to accurately monitor
- Flexibility for different shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work with tight deadlines
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Strong prioritization skills and the ability to perform multiple tasks
- Valid food handler's certificate or equivalent
Job Duties
- Cuts and portions different types of meat according to specifications
- Cuts and portions different types of cheese according to specifications
- Cuts and portions different types of fruits and vegetables according to specifications
- Assist with dishing out all food and or meals for airlines
- Read and follow dnata Catering recipes correctly and provide correct proportions
- Comply with all HACCP/GMP and dnata catering sanitation and proper food handling policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned by management
