Job Requirements
- One year of heavy prep experience with good knife skills
- Ability to work Monday through Friday from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm
- Willingness to comply with health and sanitation regulations
- Ability to follow established recipes and portion controls
- Ability to operate and clean kitchen equipment
- Availability to work full time
- Ability to perform essential functions satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of heavy prep experience
- Good knife skills
- Ability to follow recipes and production schedules
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and customer service skills
Job Duties
- Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef
- Prepare items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes
- Complete and follow daily production worksheets and waste log sheets
- Taste completed meals to ensure quality
- Operate and clean equipment per department procedures after each use
- Store, label and date all food items according to policy
- Follow HACCP guidelines
- Complete all required documentation, reports, logs as required
- Comply with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures
- Take orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation time
- Serve customers in an efficient and friendly manner
- Complete orders from steam tables and grill and serve customers at multiple stations
- Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control
- Resolve customer concerns
- Perform other duties as assigned
