Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous prep cooking experience preferred
- Ability to work varied shifts including full-time or part-time schedules
- Must comply with health and safety regulations
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks required in food preparation
- Must be able to follow detailed instructions and maintain food quality standards
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
Job Qualifications
- Previous prep cooking experience preferred
- Ability to follow recipes and production schedules accurately
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards including HACCP guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to comply with company policies and procedures
Job Duties
- Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef
- Prepare items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes
- Complete and follow daily production worksheets and waste log sheets
- Taste completed meals to ensure quality
- Operate and clean equipment per department procedures after each use
- Store, label and date all food items according to policy while following HACCP guidelines
- Complete all required documentation, reports, and logs
- Comply with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations
- Take orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation time
- Serve customers in an efficient and friendly manner
- Complete orders from steam tables and grill while serving customers at multiple stations
- Use approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and portion control
- Resolve customer concerns
- Perform other duties as assigned
