Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of one year of experience in a culinary role within full-service restaurants, catering, healthcare, country club, hotel, or cruise line environments
  • ability to stand for extended periods during work shifts
  • basic understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • reliable and punctual with good work ethic
  • ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team
  • flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of one year of progressive responsibility in a full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club, hotel, or cruise line environment
  • basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety
  • ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines
  • strong communication and teamwork skills
  • willingness to learn and advance culinary skills through online culinary courses
  • commitment to maintaining food safety standards

Job Duties

  • prepare food items needed for meal service following established recipes and portion control guidelines
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen prep area
  • assist in receiving and storing food supplies
  • monitor food quality and report any issues
  • comply with food safety and sanitation standards
  • collaborate with team members to support daily kitchen operations
  • participate in training and development programs as required
