Job Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Food Handler Card with a thorough understanding of kitchen sanitation and food safety codes
- Previous experience as a prep cook or line cook in a restaurant, healthcare, or senior living setting is a plus
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- A passion for serving older adults and working in a team-focused kitchen

Job Duties
- Be a part of a compassionate and high-performing team to redefine senior living and deliver top-level results
- Wash, chop, measure, and prepare ingredients for daily meals and recipes
- Assist with basic cooking tasks under the direction of the Chef or Cook
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols, following state and federal guidelines
- Label and store food properly to minimize waste and ensure freshness
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of prep stations, equipment, and kitchen tools
- Support the culinary team during meal service and special events
- Help receive, unpack, and store food deliveries
- Assist with dishwashing or other kitchen tasks as needed
- Communicate respectfully with team members, residents, and staff
- Contribute to a positive kitchen culture that emphasizes safety, respect, and service
