Job Requirements

  • Prior experience in kitchen and cooking
  • ability to work full time including flexible morning and afternoon shifts and weekends
  • willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
  • ability to operate and clean kitchen equipment
  • basic math and organizational skills
  • capability to follow instructions and complete documentation
  • strong customer service orientation

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in kitchen and cooking
  • ability to follow recipes and production schedules
  • knowledge of federal, state and local health and safety regulations
  • strong attention to detail
  • effective communication skills
  • basic food preparation skills
  • ability to work flexible shifts including weekends

Job Duties

  • Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef
  • prepare items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes
  • complete and follow daily production worksheets and waste log sheets
  • taste completed meals to ensure quality
  • operate and clean equipment per department procedures after each use
  • store, label and date all food items according to policy
  • follow HACCP guidelines
  • complete all required documentation, reports, logs as required
  • comply with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures
  • take orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation time
  • serve customers in an efficient and friendly manner
  • complete orders from steam tables and grill and serve customers at multiple stations
  • use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control
  • resolve customer concerns
  • perform other duties as assigned
