Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in food preparation or cooking
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle kitchen equipment
- Basic food safety certification is preferred
- Willingness to follow detailed instructions and company protocols
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience as a prep cook or in a similar kitchen role
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation including grills, fryers, broilers, ovens
- Ability to follow recipes and prep lists accurately
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Cook and prepare various recipes and food products according to prep lists provided by the chef
- Prepare all batch recipes in accordance with portion and quality control, temperature guidelines, and company issued recipes
- Manage all aspects of their station including setup, prep work, stocking, cleanliness, organization, sanitation, breakdown, and storage
- Operate kitchen equipment such as grill, fryer, broiler, oven
- Maintain strict adherence to safety and hygiene standards
- Collaborate with culinary team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Follow company procedures and maintain food quality consistently
